Virginia Woolf on stage.
Royal Ballet announced the return of " Woolf works" back to the stage.
The ballet premiered in 2015 with a great success. Choreogapher Wayne McGegor turned three Woolfs' novels into a bautiful triptych filled with emotions and passion. Max Richter's music makes a perfect background for dance. It frames it, makes it more intense.
Three parts, based on "Mrs Dalloway", "Orlando" and "The Waves", are all very different, with different characters, movements, music. But they are all connected by an invisible thread.
Now let's watch an interview, that answers the question:"Why Woolf is so inspiring?"
